Founder & CEO, Carter Connects

The right person. The right reason. The right preparation.

01 · The beginning

Why I created Carter Connects

I created Carter Connects because I kept seeing the same thing: capable founders and business leaders, full of ambition, held back not by a lack of contacts but by a lack of the right ones.

Finding someone's name is easy. Finding the right person, for the right reason, at the right time, is much harder.

02 · The principle

Relevance over volume

Meaningful business relationships are built on relevance, trust and preparation — not on the size of a network.

Knowing a thousand people is worth very little if none of them are the right one, properly understood and approached with context. That judgement is the work.

03 · Our values

What Carter Connects stands for

Trust. Relevance. Integrity. Preparation. Meaningful relationships.

Everything we do is measured against whether it serves those values.

04 · The vision

Where this is going

The longer-term vision is a trusted ecosystem connecting founders, business leaders, investors, specialists and strategic partners — where the right introduction is made for a genuine reason, at the right time.

What guides our work

Our focus

  • 01Quality over quantity
  • 02Relevant introductions
  • 03Trusted relationships
  • 04Business opportunities
  • 05Real conversations

Our promise

We don't sell contacts. We create opportunities.

You don't need more contacts. You need the right introduction — considered, relevant and made with care.

Principle 01

Personally reviewed

Every request is reviewed by a person who understands what you're trying to achieve, applying human judgement, context and relationship knowledge before an introduction is considered.

Principle 02

Genuine fit only

Fit considers relevance to your objective, potential mutual value, timing, context, the relationship route available and whether the introduction is appropriate. If we don't believe there is enough of a fit, we don't force the introduction.

Principle 03

Relationships first

Quality matters more than volume: introductions are not made simply to increase their number. Clients pay for relevance, judgement, context, relationship knowledge and a human introduction process — not an automated database or a list of contacts.

Start with the relationship you need to build.
